Queen is quite an outstanding female.  Not only does she have a striking appaloosa color pattern but she also has wonderful conformation and presence.  She is a joy to be around and loves to greet us with kisses.  She is very curious and has a calm, pleasant personality.  She is a “little sister” to Chantilly Lace and is her constant companion.  Queen is out of Power Spike, an integral member of Shangrila Farm’s appaloosa breeding program. Spike has an impressive bloodline that includes The Professor, Dr. Doolittle and Lion of Bolivia.  Her Dam, Shagrila’s Macon, is a beautiful appaloosa and is a foundation female for the llama herd at Maryland Alpaca Farm.  She also has an impressive bloodline that includes Chief Sitting Bull and Top Flight. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to purchase Queen from Angel Forbes Simmons at Maryland Alpaca Farm.  Queen was bred to our outcross Chilean herdsire Bold Graffiti and is due to have her cria in April 2010.
